Thought Leaders Workshop: Exploring Opportunities to Secure the Grid's Supply Chain

How do utility leaders prepare for and mitigate, not only the cyber risk, but the potential financial and reputational risks associated with a threat that doesn't play the rules, and is constantly evolving? Fortress Information Security, ReliabilityFirst and the Economic & Trade Mission at the Embassy of Israel to the United States bring to you strategies for handling Supply Chain Security for utilities and their vendors.

The Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD), North American Transmission Forum (NATF), Sepio Systems, American Electric Power (AEP) and the Israel Electric Corporation join this thought leaders workshop to share ideas and best practices to address supply chain risk.

Date: Wednesday, September 9

Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST

ReliabilityFirst's stated mission is to preserve and enhance the reliability and security of the bulk power system within the RF region. This mission includes developing, monitoring, and enforcing compliance to FERC-approved reliability standards for all owners, operators, and users of the bulk power system; the development and dissemination of timely and instructive information (including assist visits, internal control evaluations, lessons learned, seminars, workshops, and periodic reports) to enhance the reliability of the bulk power system; and providing seasonal and long-term assessments of bulk power system reliability.
