All US government contractors are now required to represent that they and their supply chain do not use banned telecommunication or video surveillance products in compliance with Section 889B of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This also applies to power utilities who provide power to military bases and other government installations.

Jeffrey Sweet has over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology and Security.  Jeffrey has worked in a variety of industries to include the U.S. government, finance, education, energy, insurance, and manufacturing.

Jeffrey is Director of Security Assessments at American Electric Power (AEP).  His organization is responsible for Penetration Testing, Application Security Testing, Third-Party Risk Governance, Vulnerability Management, and Security Architecture and Engineering.  Jeffrey also manages a joint business relationship with Fortress Information Security (Asset to Vendor Network (A2V)) which provides energy utility companies a low-cost means of obtaining security risk assessments for their third party suppliers and vendors.
