Fortress Information Security Privacy Policy

Fortress Information Security LLC and its subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates (“Fortress”) recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of the personal information you provide to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, and otherwise manage the personal information you entrust to us by engaging our services on the website (“Site”) and social media pages (collectively the “Service”). Please note that the Policy applies only to our online information-gathering and dissemination practices in connection with the Services and does not apply to any of our practices conducted on other online platforms, offline, or associated with other products or services offered by Fortress. We have separate privacy policies for information collected by other means or from other sources, such as our privacy policies for information we receive or exchange with our clients associated with our work for our clients.
Fortress reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy at its sole discretion and at any time. Fortress will notify you of any changes by posting a revised Policy on its Site. By using or receiving the Services, you agree and consent to the Policy then in effect.
This Policy is written in the English language. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any translated versions of this Policy. To the extent that any translated versions of this Policy conflict with the English language version, the English language version of this Policy shall control.

1. Collection of Personal Information

Fortress may collect personal data from you directly when you interact with our Service, contact us, use our services, create an account, subscribe, share reviews, or sign up to receive offers or emails from us.

The Services, including this Site, are not targeted for use by children. Fortress will never knowingly request or collect personal information from any child. 2. Categories of Personal Information and Purpose for Collection

Fortress collects the following categories of personal information: (1) contact information including your name, email address, address, city, state, zip code, phone number; (2) authentication information, including the user name and password that you use to register an account on the Site or apply for a job posting; (3) comments, reviews, suggestions; (4) personal preferences including online preferences, and interests; (5) online behavior information including online activity, preferences, and time spent viewing features; and (6) IP address or mobile network information.

Fortress only collects and processes the minimum amount of personal information from you that is necessary to the purposes of our information processing activities and retains such information only if required to fulfill such purposes. Our information processing activities include conducting our business, customer communications and support, user verification, quality management services, Site maintenance and improvements, servicing our clients, and complying with legal requirements. Where applicable, if Fortress intends to further process your personal information for a purpose other than that for which the personal information was initially collected, Fortress shall, prior to such processing, provide you with any relevant information on such additional purpose, and, to the extent required by applicable law, obtain your consent for this.

Fortress does not trade, rent, or sell personal information that you provide to us via the Service to third parties.

We may share information with third parties who perform services and functions on our behalf to support our interactions with you. The Services are controlled and operated by us from the United States and are not intended to subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than that of the United States. Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers, and by using the Services you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules than those of your country. Fortress has safeguards and security controls in place to protect your personal information. The Site may contain links to third-party owned or operated websites, including, without limitation, news postings or social media websites (each a “Linked Site”), as a convenient method of accessing information that may be useful or of interest to you. This Policy and the practices that we follow under this Policy do not apply to Linked Sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed on any Linked Site or for the privacy practices or security standards used by third parties on such Linked Sites. These Linked Sites have separate privacy and data collection practices, and we have no responsibility or liability relating to them.
